Welcome!

Welcome to Quarter Mile Farm - so named because our farm sits a quarter mile off the road.  My name is Nicole Osban, and I've been involved with goats for years - both as a breeder, and as an exhibitor (4-H and Open).  When I was younger, I competed in 4-H and Youth Competitions.  I am very proud of what I've accomplished over the years, including winning the Showmanship Award at the ADGA National Show!

Now that I'm working full-time and having two-legged kids as well, I like to keep a small herd.  Hali joined the team 6 yrs. ago and now has does of her own...keeping the family tradition strong! <g.

Please take a moment, sit back and relax while you browse my website.  I've spent years working on perfecting my Nubians, and I'm really proud of my results to date.  I've acquired some gorgeous animals from some of the top Nubian breeders in the country, and am really excited about this year's breeding schedule!  I must admit that I absolutely love the Nubian breed, and feel that they have a lot to offer to the serious breeder, the homesteader or the 4-H/pet home.

Here at Quarter Mile Farm my goals are simple - I strive for outstanding conformation, breed character, an ample and continuous lactation (both quality and quantity of milk), temperament and longevity.  All of my goats must meet these standards.  We take pride in all of our girls and attend many shows throughout the year, as well as attending as many National Shows as possible.  Our kids are raised on heat-treated colostrum and pasteurized milk.

I'd also like to take a moment to thank Karen Senn and her daughter, Krista Senn Meyers for allowing us the opportunity to purchase so many great foundation animals from their awesome herd.

Each spring there will be several kids available, as well as some of the milkers.  Please feel free to contact me if you're interested in something, or if you have questions about someone!

Sincerely,

Nicole Osban
